Grown by Paulino Gutierrez and Mercedes Ramírez at their Finca Gutierrez farm in the Taipiplaya region, this coffee has benefited from mentorship through the Sol de la Mañana agronomy program since 2018. The Gutiérrez family, in partnership with Market Lane, has embraced better farming practices, leading to improved quality and yield in this important coffee-growing region. The farm, nestled amidst rugged mountains and dense jungle, has a history of coffee cultivation passed down through generations. Paulino and Mercedes’ dedication to quality and community has resulted in a specialty-grade coffee with a delightful character.
